The plan was to visit Dad and camp in Vermont this weekend. Since we have the rare chance to see my brother (a resident of S.C.) in Boston on Saturday and also because the weather doesn’t look favorable for tenting, Vermont will have to wait. Here’s a pic from a recent end-of-May weekend at Dad’s anyway.

I really love the way the colors pop against the concrete and wood in this one. The paper ‘Happy 30th Bob’ banner might still be up today. It was so cheerful we couldn’t bring ourselves to take it down.
