Here’s a sneak peek at my next screen in-progress. For those of you not familiar with the process of screen-printing, here’s a link to wikipedia’s screen-printing page. I plan to print fabric and paper with this one so keep your eye out for new products! In the meantime, check out my Etsy shop.

Reminds Me of…
Monday, August 20th, 2007Minty creaminess and chocolate cookie. When I finished this Kelly Tote it reminded me of a grasshopper pie ice cream sandwich. My latest CD learning adventure has been with Mindless Eating which is both fascinating and revealing although in it the author shares one fact that will come as no surprise to you. Studies reveal that the top three favorite comfort foods for women are: ice cream, cookies and chocolate. Getting hungry? Well, you could sport this tote without the caloric guilt. See more of this bag and it’s companion pouch along with some of my other goodies in my Etsy shop.
Terrible Beauty
Friday, August 17th, 2007I was mesmerized by these moon jellies on a recent trip to the The Maritime Aquarium in Norwalk, CT. Maybe they’ll float their way into my next pattern design!

InsideOut at wünderarts
Monday, August 6th, 2007House # 10 and more graphite on paper works by Dean Brown can be seen with paintings by Derek Noble at wünderarts, in Amherst, MA though September 21, 2007. If you are ever in the Amherst area, I highly recommend a visit to this new gallery, born of Nora and Tony Maroulis’ love of contemporary art. I attended the grand opening on Saturday and was floored to see such a fresh space right in the area. And, as you could probably guess, I am quite fond of the gallery’s signature color: bright green!
