Time to Play
Child development texts talk about the importance of play in children’s growth and learning, but what about kids who’ve grown out of little bodies? To me, play is a form of work, and since I love my work, it’s a form of play. I love to experiment with turning two dimensional drawings and fabric into three dimensional forms. Are you fresh out of creative ideas? Observe children playing and creating. That’s how I get most of mine.
